"I dreamed of a nest in which the trees repulsed death"

Adolphe Shedrow, Berceau sans promesses, p. 33.Seghers, Paris.

The sculpture and installation work I create make a statement about contemporary issues. Works respond to subjects inclusive of war, obesity, religion and society profiling the adverse affects upon the individual and broader population. Most of my life has been employed in working with those marginalised and disadvantaged in our world.Their silent loss of identity, dignity, life and country are the  reasons for advocacy to highlight and inform audiences.

It is my ambition to create work which provokes dialogue on contemporary issues and challenge perceptions.

Materials recycled, deconstructed, molded, welded, found and filmed are used.Placing familiar objects in unusual contexts, using text, veiled humour are techniques I employ.
