"I dreamed of a nest in which the trees repulsed death"

Adolphe Shedrow, Berceau sans promesses, p. 33.Seghers, Paris.

My installation practice explores conceptual representation of death and loss.

Global issues inclusive of war, obesity, religious bigotry and gender inequality provide the impetus to profile the silent loss of identity, dignity, life and country.

Minimalist installations use recycled materials, deconstructed, moulded, welded, found and filmed.Placing familiar objects in unusual contexts, using text, veiled humour are techniques I employ.
